William Rice has an M.S. from Cornell and a B.S. in civil engineering, with a major in structures, from the University of Massachusetts. He worked for two of the nation’s largest design/build/construction firms on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in the Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore areas. Also, for 21 years Rice taught engineering materials, structures lab, and other building-related courses at Vermont Technical College to architectural and engineering students.
