Daniel B. Barnum, FAIA, of Houston, Texas, holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Rice University. Between those attainments, he served in the US Navy on active duty in Vietnam and remained in the US Naval Reserve until retiring as a Commander in 1977. He practiced architecture for more than 50 years, designing a variety of buildings, from houses to high-rise office buildings, until he retired in 2015. Among his major projects are One Shell Plaza and Two Shell Plaza in downtown Houston, and Houston Lighting and Power, which is now the Houston Public Works office building. Barnum is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, the highest honor bestowed on its members by the AIA.
Barnum “knew” at the outset that something was fishy about 9/11, because both of the buildings collapsed suddenly, and in the same manner.
Roland Angle graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BS in civil engineering, served in the U.S. Army Special Forces, where he was trained in the use of explosives, and became a licensed civil engineer in California. His 50 years of engineering experience has included designing and testing of blast-hardened missile launch facilities and designing U.S. Naval explosive containers, harbor terminal facilities, earth foundation systems, and hydraulic systems. In addition, Roland has owned three construction companies and has taught engineering subjects to high school students.
He was skeptical of the official explanation for the failure of the World Trade Center towers but did not investigate in depth until he heard a presentation on the radio by Richard Gage several years after the attack. After doing further research, he signed the AE911Truth petition and began to devote long hours to uncovering the truth about the events of 9/11. In 2016, Roland was invited to join the board.
Tom Spellman has an undergraduate degree in architecture (with a minor in civil engineering) from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He also managed a housing co-op for 15 years and was an accountant for five years. An Internet discussion about 9/11 in late 2002 convinced him that the official story was a fraud. Upon hearing Dr. Steven Jones state that random fires and damage could not produce a symmetrical collapse, he understood that explosives had to be involved. He contacted Richard Gage to clarify technical points made during a presentation and was invited to join the weekly team calls as a volunteer. He has served as Treasurer ever since.
Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect of 28 years, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the founder and CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth), a 501(c)(3) educational charity.
Since AE911Truth was launched in 2006, more than 2,850 architects and engineers with verified academic degrees and in most cases professional licenses have signed its petition calling for a new investigation into the destruction of World Trade Center Towers 1, 2, and 7, citing overwhelming evidence that they were in fact destroyed by controlled demolition. The organization also represents more than 21,500 other petition signers in the US and abroad.
During his architectural career, Gage has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings. His most recent project before he became the full-time CEO of AE911Truth was managing the construction documents for a $400M mixed-use urban project with 1.2 million square feet of retail and 320,000 square feet of mid-rise office space and parking structure — consisting of about 1,200 tons of steel framing.
Gage began his quest for the truth about the collapse of the WTC high-rises after hearing on the radio the startling conclusions of reluctant 9/11 researcher David Ray Griffin. Since founding Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Gage has delivered his live multimedia presentation 9/11: Blueprint for Truth more than 550 times in 44 foreign countries and 110 American cities to audiences ranging from four to 4,000. He has appeared in more than 600 radio and television spots.
Kelly David received a Bachelor of Science degree from New York Institute of Technology in 2002 and immediately launched her career in management. Over the next 11 years, she helped organize the day-to-day operations of several businesses in New York, where she grew up, then moved to the San Francisco Bay area, where she currently resides. In early 2013, after watching AE911Truth's "Experts Speak Out" and being bothered by the anomalies the film presented, she joined the group as a volunteer. By April of that year, her management expertise had propelled her into the role of assistant to CEO Richard Gage. After effectively managing the organization's back-end operations for several months, she was named COO by the board. In the spring of 2015, the board named Kelly a director. Her business motto: "In order to take the first step to success, you need a strong organizational structure on which to stand. I'm grateful to have that structure here!"
