Jeff Farrer, holds a Ph.D. in material science and engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in physics from Brigham Young University. He has experience with characterizing materials, semiconductor materials and thin films, and currently works with nano-particles as well as solid-state reactions. In April 2009, he coauthored the article, "Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe," which documented the existence of nano-thermite in a number of dust samples taken from the World Trade Center.
